Futurotextiles combines science, technology and art to textile manufacturing universe destined to different productive areas such as architecture, biotechnology, medicine, sports, transportation and electronics up to the aerospace industry, offering a detailed overview on the latest developments in fibers and the most innovative applications of textiles outside the traditional world of fashion. Special features of this edition of the exhibition: the enhancement of high-tech fabrics developed by Prato textile district companies which made the Research in specialist areas their manufacturing excellence.
