Gionata Gatto (1982) is an Italian designer, currently living and working in Eindhoven, THE NETHERLANDS. He followed the Industrial Design BA program at the I.U.A.V. of Venice AND AFTERWARDS HE GRADUATED AT the Man Humanity Masters at the Design Academy Eindhoven.
Gionata’s work aims to deal with the impact of design on the social environment. His work covers a wide range of topics from ENERGY CONSUMPTION to CULTURAL INTEGRATION, the results being objects that aim to provoke dialogues, reflections and intuitions upon these themes.
BY ESTABLISHING STUDIO ATùPPERTù GIONATA AFFIRMED HIS CHOICE to apply thEsE studIES to different DESIGN projects: self-commissioned, rather than aiming to serial production for companies, till designing for public interaction spaces.
His works have been exhibited in galleries and events worldwide, including Spazio Rossana Orlandi, Maison & Objet, Sotheby’s, Triennale di Milano and the Tijdelijk Museum.
